Julia's love of art and English, started at an early age,

taking photos on family days out and sketching either from her photos or her imagination.

Whilst she didn't immediately follow a creative career, she went on to fit nearly fifteen years as a part time wedding and freelance branding photographer raising her around her growing family of boys single handedly.

In 2024 Julia decided to put her camera to one side to pursue a new creative career but she was unsure what that would look like. Then in the New Year of 2025, her world was rocked by a family circumstance that saw her spend huge amounts of time at Kings College Hospital in London.

On parking the car, Julia would walk to Kings through Ruskin Park which is a stunning park, nestled next to the world class hospital and boasts unexpectedly impressive views of central London. On her walks she found time to breathe and ground herself by observing the reassuring predictability of the trees, plants and animals that have made the park their home alongside the community that congregates there for both organised projects and those taking some time alone to recharge. These few minutes each day gave her peace and strength when she needed it most.

Watching the changes of every season, she was inspired to use the experience to create a something that could offer the same comfort and hope to others going through challenging circumstances.

Many of her works are inspired by the plants, trees and people she observed throughout the journey and aims

to turn her observations into cards, artwork and gifts that will bring comfort, hope and wellbeing

to others who are trying to navigate the many changing seasons of their lives too.
