Branding photography is essential for charities, to raise their profile, support campaigns and engage support from the public and corporate sectors.
Before I became a photographer, professionally, I had several jobs, for which I am grateful, as they gave me lots of life experience that I may have otherwise missed out on. One of my jobs was at a school for children with multiple and complex disabilities and learning difficulties. I worked alongside a physiotherapist and occupational therapist, delivering much needed input within a school setting.
I have also been involve with group situations where adults were struggling with their mental wellbeing. Because of these humbling and very valuable experiences, I am able to take all I learned over to my photography to offer a very relaxed, discreet and empathetic approach to my charity photography.
I am confident working with children and adults of all abilities and those who experience challenging behaviour. My aim is always to deliver a calm and understanding service to schools, charities and families. I work in a relaxed way and in a manner that is always totally led by the people I am photographing, understanding that no two days are the same and that triggers can happen at any time for any reason.
